About This Program
The Skills Acquisition Program is YETI Foundation's flagship initiative designed to equip young people with practical, marketable skills that lead to sustainable employment and entrepreneurship.
Participants receive hands-on training in carpentry, tailoring, technology, hairdressing, and other essential trades. Each cohort runs for 3-6 months, combining practical workshops with mentorship and business development training.
Beyond technical skills, the program emphasizes financial literacy, work ethic, and entrepreneurial mindset—ensuring graduates can not only find employment but also create opportunities for others in their communities.
