About This Program
This program directly confronts the twin challenges of substance abuse and violence that disproportionately affect youth in underserved communities like Mushin.
Through quarterly intensive workshops, participants learn about the dangers of substance abuse, develop coping strategies, and gain access to rehabilitation resources. The program also addresses gang-related violence through alternative engagement pathways.
Families and community members are included in the process, creating a support ecosystem that extends beyond individual participants to entire households and neighborhoods.
